Dr Patrick Michalka is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Perth Children's Hospital. Orthopaedic injuries in children often require different treatment to injuries in adults, and Patrick has an excellent practical understanding of the special needs of children requiring medical treatment.

He is passionate about making medical and hospital experiences for his paediatric patients as comfortable as possible, and enjoys interacting with children and their parents to help children undergoing surgery or other medical procedures feel safe and secure in his care.
