Orthopaedic & Hand Surgeon
Patrick Michalka is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. He graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2004 and completed advanced training in Orthopaedic Surgery with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2013. Patrick completed further fellowship training in Adult and Paediatric Hand Surgery, Brachial Plexus and Peripheral Nerve Surgery and Microsurgery in Western Australia, New South Wales and the USA.
Patrick works as a Consultant in Orthopaedic Surgery at Joondalup Health Campus and Joondalup Private Hospital, and is a Staff Specialist in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Perth Children’s Hospital. His special interests are general orthopaedic surgery, hand and upper limb surgery, Paediatric orthopaedic surgery, trauma and reconstruction, brachial plexus and peripheral nerve surgery, nerve injuries and abnormal pain responses (post injury and post operative).
Patrick sees Public, Private and Workers Compensation patients, as well as DVA and MVA patients. He operates both North and South of the River.
